Responsibilities

  • Please note this position is approx 1 year fixed term to cover materntiy leave.*

    • Book flights & travel in support of operations both within the UK & overseas as required using the company travel agent as per company policy. To apply for overseas VISA’s for travel as required.

    • Make and receive calls from offshore personnel regarding job details, check in times and flight details. Liaise with the operations departments regarding check in times, courses and any training requirements required to enable personnel to travel

    • Reconcile the travel log on a monthly basis.

    • Perform monthly accruals for relevant department and sent to finance for approval.

    • Track and update training course details for example, Offshore Survival refreshers, Medical records, Permit to Work courses, personal detail records and MAPS tracking forms. Liaise with the Operations Supervisors in order to ensure that field Personnel have the necessary certification, documentation and immunization in order for them to travel to various installations in different countries.

    • Track and maintain database to ensure that all staff are compliant with minimum standards training and at all times. To communicate effectively with departments to ensure that adequate notice is provided for the requirement for personnel to attend required minimum standards training.

    • Maintain personnel competency portfolio’s with documentation and training records

    • Keep all bonus sheets on ORS up to date & ensure that all bonus-sheets are correct when submitted for approval, correspond to the personnel utilization database and are approved by the relevant department managers prior to timely submission to payroll.

    • Assist in providing the Operations Supervisors with the offshore pre job briefing packages and log all movements of offshore personnel to and from offshore and onshore installations in the utilization paperwork.

    • Assist the operations managers and operations support supervisor with monthly, quarterly and safety reports submission and consolidation (i.e. QHSE reports, headcount and client man-hour reports)

    • Oversee the ordering and tracking of PPE for department staff offshore and in the office, maintain a sufficient minimum stock level.

    • Track all holidays for offshore personnel & onshore personnel.

    • To participate in on-call support on a rotational basis

    • Assist in redeploying tools from other Weatherford facilities.

    • Assist DRP with inventory orders for the relevant department.

    • Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Management within the timeframe specified in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable and you are capable and deemed competent to fulfil these.

    QHSE Responsibilities

    • Demonstrate a personal commitment to Quality, Health, Safety and the Environment

    • Apply Weatherford, and where appropriate Client Company’s, Quality, Health, Safety & Environment Policy and Management Systems.

    • Act in accordance with the Roles and Responsibilities as designated in Document 2-2-EW-GB-EDI-00001.

Qualifications

Required

  • Good Standard level of education.

  • Previous experience of personnel logistics and training & competence, preferably gained in an offshore service environment.

  • Ability to work in a busy and demanding environment.

  • Flexible approach to work and working hours to meet operational requirements.

  • Good communication skills both written and verbal.

  • Be able to work on own initiative and to prioritise workload to meet tight deadlines.

    Preferred

  • Logistics/travel qualification/SVQ.

  • Experience in the systems in place within Weatherford: JD Edwards.

  • MS Access knowledge.

  • Computer literate and advanced training of Microsoft Word and MS Excel (advanced), and PDF software.

  • Knowledge of the Product Line capabilities.
